Thank you for making the effort to submit an abstract to the 2007 HPS Midyear in Knoxville Tennessee. The East Tennessee Chapter is committed to hosting a productive, results-oriented meeting. The abstract submittal process is designed to be fill-in-the-blank and self-explanatory. Once you complete the electronic form and press continue at the bottom of the page, a verification form will appear so that you can check your submittal. It's easy to then edit and resubmit until you are satisfied with your entries and end your session. Once the abstract is submitted, you will receive an email notification at the same time the technical program committee receives the abstract for review. You may receive follow-up questions from the program committee, either by phone or email, to assist with the review and approval process. We intend to notify all authors by September 1, 2006 of acceptance. We do intend to issue proceedings of your manuscript, which is due by November 15, 2006. We also request that your MS Powerpoint presentation be uploaded to the meeting server a couple of weeks prior to the meeting. The appropriate formatting details for the manuscript and the powerpoint presentation will, as always, be posted on the program meeting website.
